Vancouver - Feb 15
Sitting in the Vancouver airport at 5:45 a.m. waiting for our delayed flight to Calgary. Yesterday's audition in Vancouver went well - met some charismatic and skilled performers. Special thanks to guest teacher Kieren Bohay and volunteer and demonstrator Sarah Stewart for an amazing dance audition class. Will check in from Calgary.
Calgary - Feb 16
After a wonderful audition in Vancouver, we encountered a four hour delay for our flight to Calgary. Luckily, alumna Nicki Norsworthy was performing in The Little Prince with Theatre Calgary, so she was able to save rhe day and start the audition on our behalf. Once we made it to the Youth Singers of Calgary studio and met the hopeful and enthusiastic auditionees, we were able to relax and take in the talent. We were even brought lunch by the ever charming Alistair Smart. Long but rewarding day.
Regina - Feb 18
We said goodbye to the Calgary skyline bright and early and arrived at Saskatchewan Express in Regina on Thursday. Lots of talented folks, wicked senses of humor, and playful day. Thanks Nora Berg for the beef stroganoff and for helpers; grad Jaemoon Lee and current student Kenni Chomyn. And, as always, thanks for the welcome Carol Gay Bell.

Watching the Montreal Audition dance call at Studio Bizz with guest teacher Alex Francoeur. Pictured in the foreground are Jacqueline Sadler prepping music for the vocal audition, George Randolph, evaluating the dancers and alumna Edith Cardinal who is helping us out at the auditions.

Woke up to the sunrise on this Haligonian skyline. Caught Jacqueline in a moment of respite at the King George before we left for the Halifax Dance Studio to meet our auditionees from Nova Scotia. George offered encouragement at the dance call and alumna Kayla Coolen shared her experience with the hopefuls.
